Our intergenerational project is working with young researchers in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) to record and revitalise at-risk cultural heritage in Bedouin communities. Here you can find recordings of interviews made by young Palestinians living in the South Hebron Hills and the North Jordan Valley, two areas which are home to Bedouin communities. You can also find ideas of how to protect Bedouin cultural heritage.
The British Council’s £30m Cultural Protection Fund, in partnership with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, is set up to protect cultural heritage at risk due to conflict in the Middle East and North Africa.
